The watchtower does not have the resources
by pepperheart inif you have a look at the december broadcast on jw tv they tell you that they wont be showing you a normal format for december but the 143rd event of gilead because the watchtower does not have the resources other wise to translate it many different lanuages.. with all the cuts the watchtower have made and are going to make you would have thought that they would have lots of resources.

Yes I tend to agree this could be some very deep do do that the Corporation is in with legal problems mounting all the time and people leaving because of so much bad publicity on the world wide web. I'm sure contributions were way down for a long time before this big sell off of property.

Maybe the Governing Body is being over worked and might be thinking that they got too much on their plate to oversee these major public bull shit displays of their total insanity for the world to see and lawyers perhaps use in get more money for their clients from. The non budging two witness rule insanity being one of it's most ugliest that is going to bite them in the a$$$ big time.
With the worldwide web as their launch pad for their sugar coated bull shit for members and interested ones to watch I think is back firing no matter how many copyrights they make.
Maybe they are having a hard time for writers to come up with bull shit that makes the Governing Body all happified and shit so are begining to cut back at least on these very disturbing monthly broadcast for the world to see, and may faze them out like the WT and Awake mags. to just quarterly and then bi yearly.
The less they say the more money they save in lawsuits because their public denial of wrong doing shows them to be heartless bastards for the courts to see.
Could be under the advisement of legal council that they limit liability and stop making these a vilification fest on those that left or speak against corporate directives and have been disfellowshipped. I could think of a whole host of reasons for them to suspend making these with perhaps more scrutiny from legal department before releasing these to the public in the future as the WT in under siege with lawsuits getting more and more as we speak.

Don't you think that some people are just better off within the org?

first of all, i must say that english is not my mother tongue (i'm spanish), so excuse me if i make any mistake.. do you think that some people simply can't cope with being outside the jws?
some of them are too worldlyphobic to be around non-jws, too dependent on a fixed set of rules in order to carry on with their lives, too dependent on the hope of paradise and resurrection, too unable to leave their personal comfort zone within the organization.

I think if someone is elderly has been in the thing for most of their life it might be better for them to live their remaining years tied to the WT corporation. It all depends on the person, some people after many years of indoctrination will find it very hard to start making their own decisions and might be better off just sticking with it if they don't have many more years left.
I was 48 when I learned TTATT, and was glad to get the hell out, I started using my brain again unlearning the WT indoctrination bull shit and start making my own informed decisions. It was hard and a lot of hard work but well worth it in my opinion, Only regrets I have is that I couldn't kick some Governing Body ass for all their bull shit they put me through. I like to take a baseball bat to these delusional mother fuckers if I could get away with it.

Will Artificial Intellegence Make The Human Race Extinct?

i don't worry about it but it just seems that the human race is going down a road that they can't make a turn off.. they are probing/discovering how the human mind works and produces intelligence down to the individual molecule.
now with the invention of the super quantum computer soon we will be able to build even better artificial intelligence greater than our own, so it will be easily able to out smart us because will we be a bunch of dumb apes first discovering how to make fire in it's eyes.. it will have it's own different agendas than us humans.

by Listener inhere's a few little gems from the latest watchtower.. 5 many today think that to be truly free, they must be able to do anything and everything they want to do, regardless of the consequences.. this statement is just ridiculous, any normal functioning individual understands the necessity for restrictions, for their own protection and justice as well as for others.
it's a very childish statement with no substantiation and written only to create a perception in jw minds of how worldly people are selfish to the point of being reckless and unrestrained.
they liken adam and eve's sinning which resulted in disaster as being like a pilot not following their designated flight path and make this commenthowever, if the pilot chose to disregard that guidance and fly any route he desired, the result could be disastrous.. this is a very bad analogy because when adam and eve sinned, they had already been forewarned of their disaster to follow.

It's a good reason they keep the writer/writers anonymous it allows them to write stupid shit like this with nobody pointing the finger at him for writing it in fact this style the sky is the limit for the stupid shit the Governing Body may force them to write or kick their ass out of the organization complete with a signed vow of poverty that exempts them from any financial obligations toward fired writers.
I think the Governing Body position of authority weighs heavily on these writers,, what an awful job to have writing bullshit for these guys to keep the flock in check and groveling in servitude to the corporation, I'd shoot myself if I had this job. I really think the whole foundation of the Organization is reaching for straws in publishing this crapolla. Being a writer for the GB has got to be the worst job in the world, no pension, no permanent residence, no money no real friends no nothing for when the WT no longer needs or wants you around. How can they write for such authoritarian despots as the GB. They must be very very braindead from using their minds to come up with this bullshit.

I feel very bad about my shunning family and others while heavily into the cult. I have tried to come to terms with the fact that I now am shun and in a way I get to experience the harm I inflicted on people when a loyal dub. I have little if any anger over those that shun me as I understand their situation, and hold no grudges toward R&F but do have a very real hatred of these dumb asses at the top of the Watchtower policy making machine and would feel much glee over seeing these ass holes in jail or begging in the streets homeless. Because these guys are some seriously fucked up delusional megalomaniacs who will inflict harm of children causing them to become martyrs for their corporation, and putting children danger of being molested.
